Thematic Photographic 38 - Winter (the end of)

I love Carmi's pictures, but this is the first time in ages that I've actually found myself with some free moments to go out with the ol' camera.

I think this counts as a winter shot, certainly it is still February, and therefore still winter in the northern hemisphere.

I know it's not very wintery, and I'll bet the thematic photographic purists will have me up against the wall when the revolution comes, but it made me feel lovely on a day when I was feeling low.

Well, I absolutely love the picture. It looks like it could be Oahu's North shore - the sand that is pebbly and looks like lots of ground up shells and the color of the ocean. What are teh two blue things?

Hoping that the weekend brightens things up for you.

I love the opportunity you took to make yourself feel better by going down to the beach! I do that too, living close to the shore is great!

I love the picture, too, and am envious of you, that you have such a view to photograph.

Have a good weekend, dear.

Nice shot! The beach always makes me think of winter. I live in Oregon, where the beach is almost always cold, and the water never gets above about 48 degrees, even in July!

Still a gorgeous photo, no matter the season.

I love this pic. Somehow, the light makes me know right away that it's Winter. I love that.

Light on the beach is a dead give away that this is a winter shot. Successful journey and shooting!

It's odd...I can actually tell it's winter by looking a the photo.

Is that possible?

I love this picture...would make a nice desktop background. ;)

Can a beach ever look bad (post-rave mornings don't count)

As I have quite a few new readers since I became a "Jelly Biter" I've put this up here again. To understand the context you must read this post!
